Description

Understanding basic and advanced role of a researcher is an essential aspect to graduate student to academically thrive. The small article looks at researcher’s role using themes identified fro three research articles. Using case studies provided in the reviewed research articles, it emerged that scholarly identify, student and supervisor feedback are major roles of researchers, especially doctoral level students. Engaging in extensive scholarly research, writing, and reading are critical to enhancing scholarly identity. Conversely, student feedback offers an academic opportunity to address emerging issues from research studies.
